Skillecta Training and Consultancy LLP
Effective from: April 2026
In Plain Language
Learning should work for everyone — regardless of ability, location, language, device, or connectivity. We design for the most constrained environments first, and build up from there.
1. Commitment
Skillecta believes that every learner and educator deserves access to quality education. We design every product and program with inclusion at its core — not as an afterthought.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All digital platforms operated by Skillecta, including SAIL (our AI-enabled learning platform)
- AI-powered learning systems and analytics tools
- Offline and online training programs
- Government, institutional, and NGO deployments
3. Infrastructure Inclusion
We design for the realities of the communities we serve:
Connectivity
- Low-bandwidth optimisation for 2G/3G networks and under-connected regions
- Offline access modes for uninterrupted learning
- Progressive loading — core content loads first, enhancements follow
Devices
- Mobile-first responsive design across all platforms
- Optimised for entry-level Android devices (Android Go, 2GB RAM)
- Lightweight interfaces that minimise storage and data consumption
4. Learning Inclusion
We process personal data under the following legal bases:
- Neurodivergent-friendly design — clear layouts, consistent navigation, minimal cognitive overload, adjustable text sizes
- Multiple learning modalities — visual, textual, interactive, and simulation-based content
- Flexible pacing — learners progress at their own speed without penalty
- Culturally contextualized content — examples, illustrations, and scenarios relevant to the learner’s local context — not generic global templates
5. Language Inclusion
- Multilingual content support — beginning with English and Hindi, with expansion planned based on deployment context
- Culturally sensitive localisation — not just translation, but adaptation of examples, references, and instructional approaches
- Support for regional scripts and text rendering
6. Technology Standards
- Working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance as our target accessibility standard
- Compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies
- Keyboard navigability across all core platform features
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios and legible typography
- Alt text for images and meaningful labels for interactive elements
7. Teacher Accessibility
Accessibility is not only for students. We recognise that educators have varying levels of digital literacy and comfort with technology:
- Intuitive teacher interfaces designed for educators new to digital platforms
- Guided onboarding and contextual help within the platform
- Training resources available in local languages
- Support channels responsive to teacher needs
8. Continuous Improvement
We regularly review and update our accessibility features based on user feedback, emerging standards, usability testing, and the evolving needs of the communities we serve. Accessibility is a journey, not a checkbox — and we are committed to making progress at every stage.
