In Plain Language
Our AI supports teachers and learners — it never replaces them. Teachers are always in the loop on decisions that matter. We test for bias, we don’t train on your data, and we build AI that’s safe, transparent, and fair for every learner.
1. Our Commitment
Skillecta Training and Consultancy LLP is committed to building ethical, transparent, and inclusive AI systems that empower learning globally. Every AI feature we develop is guided by one principle: technology should serve educators and learners — never the other way around.
2. Core Principles
Teacher-in-the-Loop
Teachers are the gatekeepers of the learning experience. Our AI provides recommendations, content, and insights — but the teacher always has the final say. No AI-generated content reaches students without educator review and approval. This is our foundational design principle.
Human-Centred AI
AI enhances human decision-making — it never replaces it. Educators and learners remain at the centre of every experience. AI serves as a support tool, not an authority.
Fairness & Bias Mitigation
We actively work to identify and mitigate bias across gender, geography, language, disability, and socio-economic background. We test AI outputs across diverse learner populations and contexts. We commit to regular bias audits as our systems scale.
Transparency
Users are always informed when AI is in use. AI-generated content is clearly labelled. We aim to make our systems as interpretable and explainable as possible, appropriate to the educational context.
Privacy by Design
AI systems are built to protect user data at every stage — from collection through analysis to output. We do not use student or teacher data to train AI models. Data minimisation is embedded in our architecture.
Safety & Content Quality
All AI-generated educational content is reviewed by subject matter experts (SMEs) before reaching learners. Harmful, misleading, or age-inappropriate outputs are actively prevented through content safety filters and continuous monitoring.
3. What Our AI Does
Allowed Uses
- Personalised, curriculum-aligned learning pathways
- Skill gap analysis and adaptive content delivery
- Teacher support tools — lesson planning, assessment generation, progress insights
- Multilingual content support
- Interactive simulations and exploratory learning
What AI Does NOT Do
- Make autonomous decisions about student grades, promotion, or ability
- Replace teacher judgment on learning outcomes
- Profile or label students based on behavioural patterns
- Conduct surveillance-based tracking without consent
- Generate content that bypasses SME review
4. AI Data Commitment
Zero Training on User Data
We do not use student, teacher, or institutional data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI or machine learning models. Third-party AI providers we work with are contractually prohibited from storing or using interaction data for their own model training. AI interactions are processed in real time and not retained for training purposes.
5. Governance
We process personal data under the following legal bases:
- AI Ethics oversight — embedded within Skillecta’s leadership and product development process
- Regular audits — periodic review of AI systems for bias, accuracy, safety, and alignment with educational standards
- SME review pipeline — all AI-generated educational content passes through subject matter expert validation
- Continuous improvement — feedback from educators and institutional partners directly informs system updates
6. Educational Integrity
AI is used to support genuine learning and encourage critical thinking. We design AI interactions to guide learners toward understanding — not to provide shortcuts or replace the learning process. We take active measures to prevent misuse of AI tools.
7. Accountability
We welcome feedback, questions, and concerns about our AI systems. If you believe our AI has produced biased, inaccurate, or harmful content, we encourage you to report it. We commit to investigating all reports and taking corrective action where necessary.
